2019ರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತೀವರ್ಷ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ಧ್ಯೇಯ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ‘ನಾಳೆಯ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಭವಿಷ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಮಾಡುವುದು’ ಎಂಬುವುದೇ ಆ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

2022ರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನದ ಗುರಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಘೋಷಣೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ 2021ರ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿರುವ ‘ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪೀಳಿಗೆ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ 2020ರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನದ ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯ ‘ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿತ್ತು.
