ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆ ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ.ಇದೊಂದು ಹಿಂದೂ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕವಾಗಿ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು “ಅಸ್ಟ್ರಾ ಪೂಜಾ” ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸರಳವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ, ಇದರ ಅರ್ಥ “ವಾದ್ಯಗಳ ಆರಾಧನೆ”. ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ಅಥವಾ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ೧೫ ದಿನಗಳ ಚಂದ್ರನ ಚಕ್ರದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾದ ಅರ್ಧದ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ದಿನ ಅಥವಾ ನವಮಿಯಂದು ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇದು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ದಸರ ಅಥವಾ ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಅಥವಾ ದುರ್ಗಾ ಪೂಜಾ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ. ದಸರ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ದಿನ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ, ದುರ್ಗಾ ದೇವಿಯಿಂದ ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ರಾಜ ಮಹಿಷಾಸುರನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದ ನಂತರ, ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಇಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯಾದರೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆ ಎಂದು ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಆದರೆ ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸಗಳಿವೆ.

ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಶಕ್ತಿ ದೇವತೆಗಳೆಂದರೆ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ (ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆ, ಕಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ದೇವತೆ), ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ (ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ದೇವತೆ) ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರ್ವತಿ (ದೈವಿಕ ತಾಯಿ), ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಾಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ; ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸೈನಿಕರು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಶಲಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾದ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಒಬ್ಬರ ವೃತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಸಾಧನಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಗಮನವನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ದೈವಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯು ಅದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆಧುನಿಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿನ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ನೆಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರಿದೆ. ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟೈಪ್‌ರೈಟರ್‌ಗಳ ಆರಾಧನೆಯಿಂದ ಹಳೆಯ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕ್ರಮದ ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒರಿಸ್ಸಾದಲ್ಲಿ, ನೇಗಿಲಿನಂತಹ ಕೃಷಿಗೆ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸುವ ಸಾಧನಗಳು, ಕತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಠಾರಿಗಳಂತಹ ಯುದ್ಧ, ಮತ್ತು “ಕರಣಿ” ಅಥವಾ “ಲೆಖನಿ” (ಲೋಹದ ಸ್ಟೈಲಸ್) ನಂತಹ ಶಾಸನ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಎರಡು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ದಂತಕಥೆಗಳು ಈ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿವೆ. ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಮಹಾರಾಜರು ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ದಂತಕಥೆಯು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ದಂತಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿ ದಿನದಂದು ಐದು ಪಾಂಡವ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೆಯವನಾದ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ತನ್ನ ಯುದ್ಧ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಶಮಿ ಮರದ ರಂಧ್ರದಿಂದ ಹಿಂಪಡೆದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ಗಡಿಪಾರು ಮಾಡುವ ಮೊದಲು ಅದನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದನು. ಕೌರವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುವ ಮೊದಲು ೧೩ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ತನ್ನ ವನವಾಸವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವನು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಅಜ್ಞಾತವಾಸ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದನು. ನಂತರದ ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ವಿಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಪಾಂಡವರು ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿ ದಿನದಂದು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಈ ದಿನವು ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೊಸ ಉದ್ಯಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲು ಶುಭವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಮೂಲ ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿನ ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿ (ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜಾ ದಿನ) ಯ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಮೊದಲು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಸ್ವಚ್ಚಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು, ಯಂತ್ರಗಳು, ವಾಹನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಸಾಧನಗಳನ್ನು ನಂತರ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹೊಳಪು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನಂತರ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಂಕುಮ ಹಾಕಿ ಇಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನಂತರ ಪೂಜಾ ದಿನದ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವುಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನಂತರ ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಯ ದಿನದಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಮೈಸೂರು ರಾಜ್ಯವಾದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ದಸರಾ ಉತ್ಸವವು ಅರಮನೆಯ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಅರಮನೆ ಮೈದಾನದೊಳಗೆ ರಾಜಮನೆತನವು ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ದಸರದ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೊದಲು ಮಹಾನವಮಿ ದಿನದಂದು ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುವುದು, ನಂತರ “ಕುಶ್ಮಂಡಾ” – ಅರಮನೆ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂಬಳಕಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಒಡೆಯುವ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ. ಇದರ ನಂತರ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಉತ್ಸವದ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನು ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯ, ನಾಡ ಹಬ್ಬ ಆಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳ ಪೂಜಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭಗಳ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆ ಅಥವಾ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಪೂಜೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ವಿಷುವತ್ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಮೂರು ವಾರಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಶರತ್ಕಾಲದ ವಿಷುವತ್ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಪೂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಸರಿಸುವ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವು ಆರಂಭಿಕ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಪೂಜವೆಪ್ಪು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮುಕ್ತಾಯದ ದಿನದ ಉತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಪೂಜಾಯದುಪ್ಪು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪೂಜವೆಪ್ಪು ದಿನದಂದು, ವಾಹನಗಳು, ಸಂಗೀತ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು, ಲೇಖನ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮುಕ್ತಾಯದ ದಿನದಂದು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮರು ಬಳಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೇರಳದ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಲವಾರು ಸಮರ ಕಲಾ ಪ್ರಕಾರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾನಪದ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಆ ದಿನ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಲು ಎಂಬುದು ನವರಾತ್ರಿ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೊಂಬೆಗಳು, ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ದೇವರು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಕಲಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಏಳು-ಹಂತದ ಮರದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕವಾಗಿ, ಪೆರುಮಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಥಾಯಾರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವ ‘ಮರಪಾಚಿ’ ಮರದ ಗೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ೯ ನೇ ದಿನ (ನವಮಿ ದಿನ) ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ದೇವಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದಾಗ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಪೂಜೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ – ಇದು ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಞಾನೋದಯದ ದೈವಿಕ ಮೂಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೀತ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಾ ಪೀಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ತೊಳೆದು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಗೋಲು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ನಂತರ ಹತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳ ಉತ್ಸವಗಳ ಪರಾಕಾಷ್ಠೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯಶಾಮಿ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಗೋಲು ಪೂಜೆಯ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರೋದ್ಯಮಗಳು, ಇದನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸುವಾಗ ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆ ಬಹಳ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಯುಧ ಪೂಜೆ ಅಥವಾ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಪೂಜೆ, ವಿಜಯದಶಮಿ, ದಸರ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಪೂಜೆ ಎಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು, ವಾಹನಗಳು, ಕೃಷಿ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು, ಯಂತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಲೋಹದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಶಮಿ ಮರದ ಎಲೆಗಳು ಮಾರಿಗೋಲ್ಡ್ ಹೂವುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನವರಾತ್ರಿಯ ೯ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ‘ಧಾನ್’ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಾರಿಗೋಲ್ಡ್ ಹೂವುಗಳಿಗೆ ದಸರ ದಿನದಂದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಮಹತ್ವವಿದೆ. ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು, ಸಂಗೀತ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಜನರು ಸಿಮೋಲ್ಲಂಗನ್ ಎಂಬ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಗಡಿಯನ್ನು ಆಪ್ತಾ ಮರದ ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಎಲೆಗಳು ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಜನರು ಸಂಜೆ ಪರಸ್ಪರರ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ರಾಯಲ್ ದಸರಾ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳು ಕೊಲ್ಹಾಪುರದಂತಹ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆ.
